Yep! We got one of those here, a community of freethinkers because our world, nay, our lives, are all about thinking freely and critically. Central Florida Freethought Community (CFFC) gets together in the greater central Florida region with meetings all the time in locations throughout Polk County’s north side. It’s Davenport chapter started getting together in May 2025 at a private residence and is growing every month. If you’re looking for friendship; camaraderie; stimulating conversations; and like-minded, open-minded and non-judgmental folks, come join us at out our next meeting. We are a nurturing and caring group, not an activist chapter (psst…at least not yet).

Come to one of our Fall meetings — September, October or November — to get your pass-information to our December Winterfest Parade event. Only limited information will be shared on this event online.

- Saturday, December 12 @ 5 PM – WinterFest Parade – We will meet at the south side of the intersection at Bay & Suwannee streets. (Yes, we’ll be meeting in the street and on the easements!) Parking will be provided on the property at TBD. Streets close at 5. For those who show up after 5 PM, we will provide a map to indicate closest parking to Bay & Suwannee that will not be closed. Bring a chair or two. (Bathroom breaks? Gotcha covered.) (Family & Pet Friendly)
