Let Us Eat Fresh

Here in Florida, it’s cold enough  to start lettuce in January. One of mine beat the season, a straggler.  I planted this one back in October 2018 with several hundred other seeds.  The photo below is the only one that made it.

The taste of this straggler lettuce is for adults only: crisp, tasty, and bold.

I’m planning to toss out a hundred more seeds today.  Wish me luck that I get, maybe, two this year.
