Meanwhile in Davenport, Florida – Since 2017
Reflecting a mindset of 21st century civility and an end to its racist past, they made themselves accountable for the history that was not left behind but still around, impacting the quality of life of their residents.
After working three years at the Davenport Historical Society and years of research and writing about Davenport via my blog, I have come to a different interpretation of the City of Davenport’s history than the one being told.
